Grandstream launches a series of Wi-Fi 7 access point by introducing a dual-band model that provides up to 3.6Gbps wireless speeds; additional Wi-Fi 7 access points, including tri-band models, to be released in the coming months
Boston, MA, USA - January 31, 2024 – Grandstream, connecting the world with award-winning unified communications and networking solutions since 2002, today released their first Wi-Fi 7 access point. The new GWN7670 is a dual-band Wi-Fi 7 access point that allows small-to-medium businesses, retail, hospitality, and similar verticals to build next-generation Wi-Fi networks with top-of-the-line speeds, capacity, stability, and efficiency. With support for advanced QoS, low-latency real-time applications, mesh networks, captive portals, Bluetooth Low Energy 5.3, and more, the GWN7670 is an ideal Wi-Fi access point for wireless network deployments with medium-to-high user density.
The GWN7670 offers dual-band 2x2:2 MIMO with DL/UL OFDMA technology and a sophisticated antenna design for maximum network throughput and expanded Wi-Fi coverage range. This Wi-Fi 7 access point improves bandwidth utilization and anti-interference ability with multi-RU and Preamble Puncturing technology. With 4096 QAM modulation, Wi-Fi 7 achieves a significant increase in data transfer rates. The GWN7670 also includes MLO technology to optimize spectrum resource utilization to ensure a smooth experience for every user.
To ensure easy installation and management, the GWN7670 uses a controller-less distributed network management design in which the controller is embedded within the product’s Web user interface The GWN7670 is also supported by GDMS Networking and GWN Manager, Grandstream’s cloud and on-premise Wi-Fi management platform. It is the ideal Wi-Fi AP for voice-over-Wi-Fi deployments and offers a seamless connection with Grandstream’s Wi-Fi capable IP phones.

The dual-band GWN7670 is ideal for those that don't have 6GHz enabled endpoints and locations where the 6Ghz band is not available.
