Grandstream Releases Their First Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 Access Point
The new GWN7672 provides tri-band Wi-Fi 7 connectivity with speeds up to 11Gbps, ideal for deployments with medium to high user density
Boston, MA, USA - July 10, 2025 – Grandstream, a leading provider of award-winning unified communications and networking solutions since 2002, today announced the release of its first tri-band Wi-Fi 7 access point. The new GWN7672 is a powerful, enterprise-grade tri-band Wi-Fi 7 access point that provides speeds up to 11Gbps (BE11000) and supports up to 384 concurrent clients. With 2x 5-Gigabit Ethernet ports and support for advanced QoS, low-latency real-time applications, mesh networks, captive portals, Bluetooth Low Energy 5.3, and more, the GWN7672 is an ideal Wi-Fi access point for demanding wireless network deployments with medium to high user density.
The GWN7672 ensures maximum network throughput and provides expanded Wi-Fi coverage range thanks to tri-band 2x2x2:2 MU-MIMO with DL/UL Enhanced OFDMA technology and a sophisticated antenna design. This Wi-Fi 7 access point improves bandwidth utilization and anti-interference with Multi-RU and Preamble Puncturing technology, provides a significant increase in data transfer rates through 4096 QAM modulation, and optimizes spectrum resource utilization to ensure a smooth user experience through MLO technology.
To ensure easy installation and management, the GWN7672 employs a controller-less distributed network management design, where the controller is embedded within the product’s web user interface. The GWN7672 can also be managed by GDMS Networking and GWN Manager, Grandstream’s cloud and on-premise Wi-Fi management platform. It is the ideal Wi-Fi AP for voice-over-Wi-Fi deployments and offers a seamless connection with Grandstream’s Wi-Fi-capable IP phones.

- Integrated Wi-Fi 7 & 2x2x2:2 MIMO with MLO, 4KQAM, MRU, Preamble Puncturing Technology

- Supports 384 concurrent Wi-Fi client devices
- Advanced QoS to ensure real-time performance of low-latency applications
- Anti-hacking secure boot and critical data/control lockdown via digital signatures, unique security certificate/random default password per device
- Self-power adaptation upon auto-detection of PoE+
- Embedded controller manages up to 50 local GWN APs; GDMS Networking offers unlimited AP management, & GWN Manager offers on-premise software AP management
