The new GWN7721PE expands the GWN7721 Series with a 10GbE PoE/PoE+/PoE++ port, delivering the power and bandwidth needed for demanding SOHO, SMB, and MDU network deployments

Boston, MA, USA – July 22, 2026 – Grandstream, connecting the world with award-winning unified communications and networking solutions since 2002, today released a new addition to its GWN7721 Series of Layer 2-Lite managed switches. The new GWN7721PE builds on the GWN7721 and GWN7721P with an upgraded 10GbE port that supports PoE, PoE+, and PoE++, delivering up to 90 watts of output power to support high-demand powered devices such as PTZ cameras and Wi-Fi 6/7 access points. With an 80 Gbps switching capacity, multi-layer QoS, VLAN isolation, and PoE Watchdog, the GWN7721PE is engineered to build a scalable, secure, and intelligent network for small to medium businesses.

The GWN7721PE features 8 x 2.5GbE ports with PoE/PoE+ support, a dedicated 10GbE port with PoE/PoE+/PoE++ support for up to 90 watts of output power, and an additional 10G SFP+ uplink port to ensure a bottleneck-free connection for concurrent traffic. With a maximum total PoE output of 130 watts across its 9 PoE ports, the GWN7721PE can simultaneously power IP phones, cameras, access control systems, and Wi-Fi 6/7 access points while simplifying cabling and reducing installation costs. PoE Watchdog continuously monitors the status of connected powered devices and automatically power-cycles unresponsive equipment, minimizing on-site maintenance and maximizing network uptime.
