Grandstream Expands Wi-Fi 7 Portfolio with New GWN7673 and GWN7672WM Access Points
The new Wi-Fi 7 access points deliver next-generation wireless performance, flexible deployment options, and powerful network management for offices, schools, retail environments, and more
Boston, MA, USA – August 17, 2026 – Grandstream, connecting the world with award-winning unified communications and networking solutions since 2002, today announced the release of two new Wi-Fi 7 access points, the GWN7673 and GWN7672WM. These new additions to Grandstream’s GWN Series expand the company’s growing Wi-Fi 7 portfolio with high-performance solutions designed to provide faster speeds, greater capacity, improved efficiency, and flexible deployment options for modern wireless networks.
The GWN7672WM is an enterprise-grade BE11000 tri-band Wi-Fi 7 access point designed to deliver powerful wireless connectivity while providing a flexible, discreet installation option. Utilizing 2×2:2 MU-MIMO across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands, the GWN7672WM provides up to 11 Gbps aggregate wireless throughput, a 5 Gigabit Ethernet port, support for up to 384 concurrent Wi-Fi clients, and wireless coverage of up to 175 meters. Its stylish, paintable exterior allows the device to blend seamlessly into virtually any environment, while flexible mounting options support in-wall, on-wall, and junction-box installations. The GWN7672WM is particularly well suited for deployments where both performance and aesthetics are important, including hotels, offices, schools, retail locations, meeting spaces, and other environments that require powerful Wi-Fi connectivity with a clean, unobtrusive installation.
The GWN7673 is an enterprise-grade BE5000 dual-band Wi-Fi 7 access point designed for SMBs and medium-scale, high-density wireless deployments. It combines 2.4 GHz 2×2:2 and 5 GHz 3×3:3 MU-MIMO to provide up to 5 Gbps aggregate wireless throughput, while a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port provides a high-speed wired uplink. The GWN7673 supports up to 512 concurrent Wi-Fi clients, provides coverage of up to 175 meters, and offers extensive mounting flexibility for ceiling, wall, T-bar ceiling, and multiple standard junction-box installations. The GWN7673 provides a versatile and cost-effective Wi-Fi 7 solution for businesses looking to upgrade existing wireless networks with greater capacity and performance, ideal for offices, educational facilities, commercial locations, retail environments, and other medium-to-high-density deployments.
Other key features of the new GWN7672WM and GWN7673 include:
- Next-generation Wi-Fi 7 connectivity with MLO, 4K QAM, MRU, and preamble puncturing
- Up to 175 meters of wireless coverage
- Support for high-density environments with hundreds of concurrent Wi-Fi clients
- Multi-gigabit Ethernet connectivity with PoE+ (GWN7672WM: 5 Gigabit RJ45 port; GWN7673: 2.5 Gigabit RJ45 port)
- Advanced QoS for real-time, low-latency applications
- PPSK support for secure, individualized network access
- Captive portal support for customizable guest access
- Enterprise-grade security, including anti-hacking secure boot, digital signature protection for critical data, unique security certificates, and random default passwords
- Flexible local, cloud, and on-premise network management
- Support for mesh networking, advanced roaming, VLANs, bandwidth management, and other enterprise networking features
