Grandstream Expands GRP Series of Carrier-Grade IP Phones with New Line of Competitively Priced Models

New GRP2600 Essential Series provides simple and affordable IP phones with zero-touch provisioning for easy mass deployment and management

Boston, MA USA – Tuesday, December 8, 2020 – Grandstream, connecting the world since 2002 with award-winning unified communication solutions, today expanded their award-winning GRP Series of Carrier-Grade IP Phones with the release of four competitively priced models. The new GRP2600 Series of Essential IP Phones provides simple-to-use, affordable desktop IP Phones with sleek designs and next-generation features including 5-way voice conferencing, full HD audio on both the speaker and handset, available dual-band Wi-Fi support, swappable faceplates and more. Built for the needs of on-site or remote workers and designed for easy mass deployment by enterprises, service providers and other high-volume markets, the GRP series of Essential IP phones offers a cost-effective, easy-to-use and easy-to-deploy voice solution.

The Essential line of the GRP Series of Carrier-Grade IP Phones includes four models, the GRP2601, GRP2602, GRP2603 and GRP2604. All GRP Series models offer carrier-grade security features to provide enterprise-level security, including secure boot, dual firmware images, encrypted data storage, and random default password. For cloud provisioning and centralized management, the GRP Series is supported by Grandstream’s Device Management System (GDMS), which runs on AWS with 99.99% reliability and provides a secure interface to configure, provision, manage and monitor large deployments of Grandstream endpoints. Other features of the GRP2600 Series of Essential IP Phones include:

GRP2601

  • 132x48 (2.21 inch) LCD screen; supports 2 SIP account and 2 line appearances
  • 5-way audio conferencing for easy conference calls; support for full band Opus voice codec with 48KHz sampling rate
  • Equipped with noise shield technology to minimize background noise
  • RJ9 jack for general off-the-shelf headsets with special Electronic Hook Switch (EHS) support for Plantronics EHS headsets
  • Integrated PoE (available on GRP2601P)

GRP2602

  • 132x48 (2.21 inch) backlit graphical LCD screen; supports 2 lines, and 4 SIP accounts
  • 5-way audio conferencing for easy conference calls; support for full band Opus voice codec with 48KHz sampling rate
  • Equipped with noise shield technology to minimize background noise
  • RJ9 jack for general off-the-shelf headsets and special Electronic Hook Switch (EHS) support for Plantronics EHS headsets
  • Integrated PoE (available on GRP2602P)
  • Built-in dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi support (available on GRP2602W which will be generally available by the end of January 2021)
  • Swappable faceplates to allow for easy logo customization

GRP2603

  • 132x64 (2.48 inch) backlit graphical LCD screen; supports 3 lines and 6 SIP accounts
  • 5-way audio conferencing for easy conference calls; support for full band Opus voice codec with 48KHz sampling rate
  • Equipped with noise shield technology to minimize background noise
  • RJ9 jack for general off-the-shelf headsets and special Electronic Hook Switch (EHS) support for Plantronics EHS headsets
  • Dual switched autosensing 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet ports; integrated PoE available on GRP2603P
  • Swappable faceplates to allow for easy logo customization

GRP2604

  • 132x64 (2.48 inch) backlit graphical LCD screen; supports 3 lines and 6 SIP accounts
  • 5-way audio conferencing for easy conference calls; support for full band Opus voice codec with 48KHz sampling rate

  • Dual switched autosensing 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet ports; integrated PoE available on GRP2604P
  • 10 dedicated BLF/speed-dial keys with dual-color LEDs
  • Swappable faceplate to allow for easy logo customization
