New Energy Saving Mode Allows Grandstream's GRP Series to Use 65% Less Energy

 

Boston, MA, USA - November 30, 2022 – Grandstream, connecting the world with award-winning unified communications and networking solutions, today announced the release of a new energy savings feature for their award-winning GRP Series of Carrier-Grade IP Phones. The new energy savings mode allows the GRP2600 Series to use up to 65% less energy than before, enabling customers to build green workstations that greatly reduce energy consumption while saving money. 

The new energy savings mode for the GRP2600 Series is available in firmware version 1.0.9.62, which is currently in Beta and can be downloaded here. The firmware release notes can be viewed here.
