The GWN7800 Pro Series features a new graphical user interface (GUI) accessible through the device and/or GDMS. In this interface, each port can be configured with professional AV functions. You can click on each port and apply AES67, Dante, and/or NDI presets. This new interface makes it easier and more efficient for you to customize AV solutions.
Pro AV configuration requires you to select or create a template that will define the AV scenario you want to use. Each port includes 3 presets or built-in templates: AES67, Dante, and NDI. AES67 is an open standard that anyone can use and operates well between different IP audio systems. Dante is a proprietary solution that provides audio streaming and control over IP networks. It is known for being easy to use, having automatic device discovery, and a centralized configuration system. Lastly, NDI is a software protocol that transmits high-quality video and audio through standard networks. All three presets provide the Pro AV functions for the GWN7800 Pro Series. The interface allows you to choose between AES67, Dante, and/or NDI video.
The GWN7800 Pro Series now has advanced quality of service (QoS) mechanisms that can accurately and quickly identify AV streams. The QoS mechanisms can better process, prioritize, and manage network traffic for AV functions. The system prioritizes audio and video traffic over other internet traffic, ensuring smooth, uninterrupted transmission. The GWN7800 Pro Series is reliable for 24 hours and, with the QoS mechanisms, is equipped to handle performance halls, live sports events, and other major broadcast/AV environments.
The GWN7800 Pro Series also supports SDVoE, a network-based architecture that distributes AV signals over Ethernet networks. SDVoE functionality helps simplify AV network architecture and strengthens the flexibility and control capabilities of the system. SDVoE functionality supports virtual matrix switching, making operations more intuitive and convenient. Virtual matrix switching also allows you to manage and control all connected devices. This allows for more flexible management. SDVoE functionality can be deployed with the existing network infrastructure and does not need a dedicated network architecture. Lastly, SDVoE’s IT infrastructure is compatible with different manufacturers, creating more seamless AV deployments.
The GWN7800 Pro Series offers significant pro AV features that enhance AV deployments in any capacity. With the new visual graphical interface, you can more easily and efficiently customize your AV solutions. Our built-in templates allow you to explore and discover your ideal AV scenario. The GWN7800 Pro Series’ QoS mechanisms can prioritize and identify AV streams. The SDVoE functionality simplifies AV network architecture. These features allow the GWN7800 Pro Series to deliver high-quality AV experiences for any occasion.
