The new GWN7605CLR is an outdoor long-range Wi-Fi access point with a built-in Phoenix Connector that provides electrical flexibility to simplify outdoor installations

Boston, MA, USA - February 17, 2026 – Grandstream, connecting the world with award-winning unified communications and networking solutions since 2002, today released a new outdoor Wi-Fi access point. The new GWN7605CLR is an outdoor long-range Wi-Fi access point that provides 150-meter coverage range and IP66-rated weatherproof protection to support deployment in any outdoor environment. It includes a built-in Phoenix Connector to power the device through 12-24V wiring, enabling the GWN7605CLR to be easily installed in locations where PoE and power outlets are not available. By adding advanced QoS, mesh networks, captive portals, support for 100+ concurrent clients, PoE+, and more, the GWN7605CLR is ideal for any outdoor Wi-Fi deployment. 

The GWN7605CLR provides dual-band 2x2:2 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi 5 technology and a sophisticated antenna design for long-range coverage up to 150 meters. It offers IP66-rated weatherproof protection to support installation in the most demanding outdoor environments. The GWN7605CLR uses a distributed network management architecture in which the controller is embedded within its web user interface, providing easy administration of locally deployed Wi-Fi APs. This outdoor Wi-Fi access point is also supported by GDMS Networking and GWN Manager, Grandstream’s cloud and on-premise Wi-Fi management platform.
